Course Description

This is a 1-year program that equips the learner with professional housekeeping skills to operate within a hotel, cruise ship and hospital. It equips the learner with the following skills:

  • Principles of housekeeping services
  • Prepare to service guest rooms and public areas
  • Service guest rooms and public areas

  • Housekeeper
  • Guest room attendant
  • Laundry agent
  • Floor supervisor.

Entry requirements

  • KCSE Mean grade D+
  • Or D+ above in English or Kiswahili and
  • D- IN Mathematics.
  • IB/A Level 4 Credits with at least a C in English
  • IGCSE 4 ‘O’ Passes with D and above with at least a C in English or Kiswahili and C in Math or any Science

  • 1 year (2 Semesters in Class &

1 Term on attachment/internship)
